Launching my first 3 listings for my M&A Advisory for Content Sites & Media Properties
Hey there đź‘‹,
Welcome to the Acquire newsletter.
Say what Richard?
2 weeks ago today I launched my M&A Advisory for Content Sites & Media Properties at Acquire.GG.
I'm a Flippa-affiliated broker and doing all deals through the platform (leveraging their awesome new Deal Room to communicate with buyers / investors), but charging no premium - just a flat 5% success fee for a complete white glove service. Indeed, it’s actually 1% less than Flippa is now charging itself for 6-figure listings with the recent price change (but the same for 7-figure listings)!
Why Flippa?
Well, some of you will know I’ve spent the last 6 months there as Director, Investor Community after an acqui-hire of my alts.substack.com and Discord Community.
(For a full breakdown of my history in the website investing / media space check out the about page)
I’m continuing to write the newsletter (subscribe here or visit the most recent post on the Flippa Blog) and running the community (come join) as a partner, and now I’m advising on deals.
I’ve seen what’s coming down the pike over the next few months with the Flippa platform and it’s truly impressive…
My Listings
I’ve now got 3 content site listings live on the Flippa platform totaling $1,715,000 in marketplace value.
And it is true value, as I’m doing things a little differently to existing brokers…
Asking prices with me are actually starting prices for expressions of interest. They are based on what I consider fair market-based valuations, choosing multiples that reflect how strong the asset is and how well diversified the traffic and revenue sources are. They are not inflated in order to accept a lower sales price.
Ok, so here we go. These are all confidential listings (URL hidden, kind of ridiculous to do otherwise in my opinion) so you will have to request access with an NDA.

Right that’s it for the first newsletter, you can hit reply or reach out directly at [email protected] and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter where I’m back posting about website investing again (after 2 years deep into the crypto / NFT rabbit hole) such as:
How do you vet content (site content) quality during an acquisition?
